Blah, Blah, Blah...Thanksgiving weekend at a glance

Hey Divas!

I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving. I had a great Thanksgiving although I spent about 2 days chained to my stove. I cooked my first Thanksgiving dinner - all by my little ol' self. The menu consisted of turkey, honey glazed ham, pot roast, baked macaroni & cheese, stuffing, collard greens, lasagna, cornbread, candied yams and cranberry sauce. For dessert - apple pie, peach pie, vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and ice cream. Woo Hoo...I had to pat myself on the back for one hell of a meal. I invited some friends over, it was nine of us just sitting around eating, drinking and being merry. I had the best time but I was exhausted from all the cooking. The next time around I will not do everything by myself (sometimes I have a hard time delegating....definitely gotta work on that).

I spent black Friday just recouping. I couldn't muster the energy to get up early and deal with the massive crowds that I'm sure were out and about.

On Saturday afternoon I was a vendor at a Holiday Bazaar selling my "Trendy Girl Accessories". In my previous post I briefly mentioned my fashion jewelry/accessory line (one of my many ventures...sometimes I feel like I'm an entrepreneur with ADD). I'm still working on the website and I will let you Divas know the second it is up and running. I met quite a few great Divas at the Holiday Bazaar all of whom are making moves and leaving their mark on the world. I love to see my fellow Divas doing their thing.

Well, Divas it is bedtime for me. Tomorrow is going to be a pretty busy day for me and this Diva needs her beauty rest. I can't take over the world with bags under my eyes :-).

Until next time,
Be Blessed. Be Fabulous. Be YOU!
